One of my favorite moments in the whole trilogy is when Shepard is ambushed by Kaleesa-Jahiri-whatever, the reporter, and he says how he knows the name of every ship that sacrificed herself during the battle of the Citadel and that they are all heroes. And then he names them all. Fucking epic. Shepard doesn't forget the dead.

I wish they would remake the trillogy i would be so hyped

Can you believe that Geth who were with Saren and nearly conquered the seat of Galactic Power were only 5% of the total Geth population? The whole population of them would conquer the galaxy on their own if they wanted. After all they were in isolation for 300 years before with every resource they needed in order to survive, adapt and evolve.

At 90 kilos here. Can't wait to break the barrier (100 kilos/225 lbs).

The way the Alliance Fleet literally comes riding in to save the day is battle of helms deep worthy. 12 year old me never cheered as hard as when I saw the Normandy leading the pack.

Ignore the Geth and focus on Sovereign, while fighting Sovereign the Geth flank the Alliance fleet and destroy it. This is a failure. Its not even tactics its common sense. NEVER. LEAVE. YOUR. FLANK. EXP0SED. There is no debate, ignoring the Geth is suicide. End of discussion.

I will never not do this. The crew of those 8 Cruisers knew the risks when they signed up for the Alliance, and the Ascension is one of the most powerful friendly ships in known space with a crew of over 10,000 plus, more then likely, a number of civilians evacuated onto it from the Citadel. I can't sacrifice that many lives just because three politicians I happen to dislike are aboard. And on the political side, which I hate because politics is not my thing, humanity ultimately gains the moral high ground as we prove we have honor and I suppose, to paraphrase some of the words of the Forerunner Didact from Halo 4, "Our nobility has blinded us, as ever." because when their backs were against the wall in ME3 it took way too long for most of the other races to agree to stand with us against the Reaper's. We didn't even hesitate to save the lives of people not of our own species in this battle, and most of them repaid us by looking after themselves first when this guy's friends showed up as our homeworld burned. Yes, the Turian's volunteered to help, but their homeworld was under attack just as ours was and they are a military culture so they tend to have less sticks up their asses, and the Krogan are like Orcs, always looking for a fight, they are both the Klingons during the Dominion War kinda thing and everyone else are the Romulan's in this situation, most joined really late in the conflict. It's very similar to Babylon 5 where the Earth Alliance saved the other races from the Dilgar only to be largely abandoned except for arms sales from the Narn when the Minbari showed up. And while I could choose to let them die, we have no guarantee that the next Council won't be even worse, and they won't even speak to you in 2 while in 3 the old Council at least remembers that they distrusted us before and it went badly. Stick with the devil you know, I guess. Plus, I like to think that most of the people in the Alliance, including Shepard, Hackett, and Anderson, are all huge Star Trek fans so they're trying to act like a Starfleet Officer from the same time period would. It would explain why their official symbol is almost the same, just a bit different.

Just one more month to see remastered

Watching this always makes me emotional. This was my favorite childhood game and I can‘t wait to see exactly this part in optimized graphics on the upcoming Legendary Edition.

I think after playing the same character for over 100 hours (since each game is around 40hours) I actually wanted a happy ever after ending. At this point what was even the point of the paragon/renegade system. For me the best ending would have been a fully happy ending for paragon Sep (he/she lives and everyone lives) and for renegade Sep the ultimate sacrifice (he dies every1 else lives) since even renegade Sep was a hero, an ass but a hero. Oh well... that's how it ends in my mind :')

Remaster will make this part look so good.

this is one of the most memorable scenes I've played in a game. first one is never winter nights.
